06:00 < conseo> yep. atm. i only index posts which contain a valid diff-url between the message's author and sbd. else in quotations (aka in its history), i don't know if this is intended, but it broadens the collected messages a bit more into the actual conversation

20:18 < mcallan> conseo: it's nice when the poster is one of the authors in the diff, because then we know who he's talking to. we can show a conversation happening. that wouldn't be true otherwise.

20:20 < mcallan> our weakness atm is it's harder to do a diff with a co-voter. it's a weakness of the footings mostly. i think we have to fix it, because it's really the co-voters who'll be driving the conversation. a wise candidate will let that happen, and stay neutral for as long as possible.
